                                            HAZE RUNNER: FRASER'S HILL(1)

My original picture at Fraser's Hill

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and a very dood evening everyone!

On 26th September 2015,  I 'accidentally' went to Bukit Fraser after sending back my sister to her campus in Tanjung Malim, Perak.Actually, it was my long wish to go to Fraser's Hill which is located at Raub, a district in Pahang but since it is on the border of Titiwangsa Range (a natural mountainous border for several state in Peninsular Malaysia including Perak, Selangor, Pahang and so on) , so you can reach there using Selangor through Kuala Kubu Bharu and also from my view, it is quite near if you are from Tanjung Malim, Perak. Before that, I drove the car from Johor Bahru then  I intentionally have so called like 'mini vacation' for less than 3 hours in Melaka. From Melaka, we( me and my sister) entering Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and lastly the border of Perak which is Tanjung Malim.Total driving was about 9 hours, and of course I became as the 'Pilot' while my sister acted as 'Sleepy Beauty  Passenger', hahaha...The story in Melaka I will share with you in the next chapter ,ok? Ok? Ok or not? Okayla... :D

Around 7.30 am, I moved from Tanjung Malim. That night I slept in one place for temporary..which is secret that I cannot tell here..hahaha..Of course, I used the truck road not the normal high way from Tanjung Malim to area of Bernam than Kuala Kubu Bharu ok KKB. Then, there is an exit to Bukit Fraser on your left which you can see it through signage. Then, just follow the way, bringing you there passing few areas like small residential and others, before you reach the KKB Dam which is the highest(the location from the Earth) water reservoir in Malaysia. Next, keep moving (of course the road was not actually straight since you are on highland) until you will see the area of Sungai Chilling Sanctuary Center for Fisheries. Move further and be extra careful since the road is like 'Ular Kena Palu', extremely dangerous especially during night or raining day.

After 1 hour , you will reach an area called 'Gap', meaning you are already on Pahang territory  and it is the 'Gate for Fraser's Hill' but still  you are not reaching 'Fraser's Hill' exactly( I mean until you see the Big Clock like the picture above) and another 9 km is needed for you to 'climb up' by car until you 'find' the peak. Before the 'Gap', you have to drive around 36 km from lowest point to the 'Gap' (including the area of KKB Dam and Sg Chilling). So, before the Gap is around 36 km(but maybe a little bit more km) and from Gap to Big clock is around 9 km.From the exit of KKB to the starting of 'climbing' activities maybe around 10 km or maybe less. Not many cars when I was there but yes, you will see many bicyclers of MTB and a few group of bikers from down to up of the hill or vice versa.
